This isn't an internship where you simply run copies or make coffee; rather, you'll collaborate on the everyday operations and development of a growing non-profit. In short, your semester here will be relevant, meaningful, and you'll take away so much experience to put toward your future career. Not to mention, there's the added bonus of knowing you're making a difference in the lives of children and families in the Central Texas Community. It truly is rewarding to be part of such a revolutionary organization.

Being an intern at HealthStart has honestly been a life changing experience for me. I have always had a passion for children and nutrition but seeing these two areas combined in the way that they are through this program has been incredibly eye-opening, motivating, and fulfilling. I will walk away from this experience with a greater knowledge and appreciation for the body and the impact on children that is possible if you really care.

Interning with HealthStart has been such a fun and informative experience. I have learned so much, and I feel like I have really contributed to something meaningful and worthwhile. This fall I feel like I have grown with the HealthStart team, and I know I will carry the lessons I learned here into any job I have in the future.
