Chef Bobo (aka Robert Surles), a leader in the movement to improve what kids eat for lunch since 2002, will be joining us again to cook up one of his family-friendly signature dishes! As a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and Executive Chef and Food Service Director for the Calhoun School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, he is not one to be missed!

HealthStart is an Austin-based nonprofit that has been helping kids and their families build good health habits since 2010. Our mission is to build healthier communities through children’s health and science education. Since HealthStart’s founding, our educational programs have helped more than 11,000 kids develop healthy habits when they are young by giving them the science, or the why, behind good health and showing them how to keep themselves and others healthy. These kids take what they learn home, helping to build community health and wellbeing.
